How it works and how to install it
The tape is applied to clean and dry surfaces. Degrease the application area, measure the required length, and cut the tape to the desired size. Remove the protective backing from the self-adhesive layer and press the tape uniformly onto the joint, ensuring no air is trapped underneath. For corners, cut the tape at a 45-degree angle for a perfect joint. After application, allow the tape to adhere completely for 24 hours before exposure to water.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it stick to wet surfaces or does it need to be completely dry?
The surface must be completely dry and degreased for optimal adhesion. Clean the area with alcohol or detergent, then allow it to dry completely before application.
How resistant is the tape to permanent contact with water?
The silicone tape is resistant to continuous moisture and maintains its sealing properties under frequent water contact, making it ideal for joints around sinks, bathtubs, and shower cabins.
Can I remove the tape if I want to change it?
Yes, the tape can be removed by gentle pulling. Any adhesive residue can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol or citrus-based detergents.
