How it works and how to install it
The strip is powered by 12V DC via a compatible driver or power source (not included). Installation is done by gluing, clamping, or direct shaping onto the support, without special tools. Sections are cut with an ordinary cutter at the markings on the strip, at 2.5 cm intervals, and connection is made by soldering or with compatible JST type connectors.

What power supply do I need for this LED strip?
You need a 12V DC power supply with sufficient power — for 5 meters at 8-10W/ml, a minimum 50-60W power supply is recommended. The power supply is not included in the package.
Can this LED strip be used outdoors or in wet areas?
Yes, the IP67 protection rating allows exposure to water and dust, so the strip is suitable for outdoor use or for areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms or refrigerated display cases.
Can the strip be cut to the desired size?
Yes, the strip can be cut at minimum 2.5 cm intervals, at the markings indicated on the body. After cutting, the ends must be properly sealed to maintain IP67 protection.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
