How it works and how to install it
The COB LED strip operates at 12V DC and must be connected to a compatible power supply and an RGB controller (sold separately). The back of the strip is equipped with double-sided adhesive tape, so mounting on clean and dry surfaces is done directly, without additional accessories. For outdoor installation, additional fastening with clips or an LED profile is recommended for long-lasting adhesion; cutting to the desired length is done with scissors, following the cutting lines marked on the strip.

Do I need a special controller for this RGB strip?
Yes, the strip requires an RGB controller compatible with 12V DC and sufficient current for the installed length. Controllers with IR or RF remote control are the most common options for home use.
Can I use this strip directly in water, for example, at the edge of a pool?
IP67 means protection against temporary immersion up to 1 meter deep, for a maximum of 30 minutes. For permanent underwater mounting, an IP68 rated strip is required.
What power supply should I buy for the entire 5-meter roll?
The total consumption of the roll is 72W (14.4W/m x 5m) at 12V DC. A power supply of at least 80-90W is recommended to ensure a safety margin and stable operation.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
