How it works and how to install it
The COB LED strip operates at 12V DC, so you need a 12V transformer or driver (purchased separately) sized for a minimum of 60W. Connect the red and black wires to the driver's output, peel off the protective film from the 3M adhesive on the back of the strip, and attach it to a clean and dry surface — the whole process takes less than 20 minutes. If you need a length shorter than 5 meters, cut the strip with scissors at the marked cutting points without affecting the remaining segments.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a separate transformer or is it included in the package?
The transformer is not included. You need a 12V DC driver or transformer with a minimum power of 60W for the entire 5-meter roll.
Can this LED strip be used in the bathroom or outdoors?
No. The strip has an IP20 protection rating, which means it is intended exclusively for dry indoor spaces, without exposure to humidity or water.
Can this COB LED strip be dimmed?
Yes, the strip is compatible with PWM dimmers for 12V DC. A dimmer compatible with the strip's voltage and power is required, purchased separately.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
