How it works and how to install it
The COB LED strip operates at a 24V DC voltage, requiring a power transformer (power supply) compatible with the total power of the installation — for a 10m roll, a minimum of 120W is required. The strip can be cut at the dedicated markings and fixed on clean surfaces using adhesive tape or mounting clips. Thanks to IP68 protection, it can be mounted directly in water, in outdoor profiles, or on surfaces permanently exposed to humidity, without additional treatment.

Can I use this strip inside an aquarium or a fountain?
Yes, IP68 protection allows complete immersion in water, so the strip is compatible with aquariums, decorative fountains, and pools, provided the power supply is located outside the wet area.
What power supply do I need to buy for a full 10-meter roll?
You need a 24V power supply with a minimum power of 120W — we recommend a 150W power supply for a safety margin and stable long-term operation.
Can the strip be cut to desired sizes or must it be used entirely?
The strip can be cut at the cutting marks printed on the substrate, usually every 5 cm or every 2.5 cm, without affecting the function of the remaining segments.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
