How it works and how to charge it
The battery is installed just like a classic battery in your device's compartment. For recharging, it is mandatory to use a specialized Ni-MH charger — chargers for other chemistries will damage the battery. The first full charge takes approximately 4-6 hours, after which the battery is ready for use. Avoid overcharging and exposure to extreme temperatures to maximize its lifespan.
Frequently asked questions
Can I charge it with any battery charger?
No, only with specialized chargers for Ni-MH batteries. Chargers for other types will damage the cells and reduce their lifespan.
How long does a full charge last?
It depends on the device, but on average it powers a standard LED flashlight for approximately 6-10 hours continuously.
Does it self-discharge if I don't use it?
Ni-MH batteries have a natural self-discharge of approximately 20-30% per month. We recommend recharging before use after long periods of storage.
