How it works and how to install it
The digital voltmeter measures the AC voltage from the network and displays it on the LED screen in real time. Installation is done by inserting the component into the 22mm hole in the panel, securing it with the nut on the back, and connecting two conductors to the marked terminals. No calibration is required — after connection, it immediately displays the voltage value. It operates continuously, without interruptions, as long as the network is powered.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it measure DC voltage or only AC?
The voltmeter exclusively measures AC voltage, in the 12-500V range. It is not compatible with DC voltage.
How large should the hole in the panel be for mounting?
The hole must have a diameter of 22mm, standard for panel components. It is secured with the nut from the back.
Is the display clear in bright light or in the dark?
Yes, the red LED has a brightness of over 60 cd/m², which ensures excellent visibility in all lighting conditions.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
