The professional in-line duct fan HZ-100 efficiently removes humidity, odors, and stale air from bathrooms, kitchens, and utility rooms. Mounted directly on a Ø100mm ventilation duct, it provides a constant flow of fresh air with low power consumption of just 30W. Remote control allows speed adjustment without direct intervention at the unit.

How it works and how to install
The fan is mounted directly in the line of the Ø100mm circular duct, between two duct segments. You fix the unit using the integrated mounting system, connect the 220V power cable to the socket, and start the fan. The motor, with 2380 rotations/minute, generates a constant airflow through the ductwork, removing stale air or introducing fresh air, depending on the chosen mounting direction.
Installation does not require an electrician or special tools — complete kit included, installed in under 30 minutes. The wireless remote control allows you to adjust the speed on two settings (IN/OUT) and control operation from a distance.

Can it run non-stop or does it need to be stopped periodically?
The fan is designed for continuous 24/7 operation. The motor has its own cooling system and does not require breaks in operation.
Can it be mounted on flexible aluminum ducting?
Yes, it connects directly to flexible or rigid Ø100mm ducting via the integrated mounting system. Make sure the duct is securely fixed to the fan ends.
How noisy is it in operation?
At normal speed, it generates a minimal sound level, comparable to a modern refrigerator. The silent bearing motor ensures discreet operation even in small spaces.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
