How it works and how to install it
The thermometer is battery-operated and does not require connection to the power grid. After inserting the batteries, the screen automatically displays the current temperature, relative humidity, and time. The MODE and ADJ buttons allow you to set the clock and access the memory function for minimum and maximum values. You can place it on any flat surface or mount it on the wall with the integrated stand.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
