How it works and how to install it
The power supply converts 220V AC from the outlet into 12V DC current required by LED strips. You connect the input cable to the electrical network through a certified electrician, then the 12V output is connected to the LED strip, observing polarity — red to plus, black to minus. Fixing is done with screws through the two holes on the casing. Passive cooling through aluminum eliminates the need for additional ventilation.

How much LED strip can I power with this unit?
You can power approximately 4 meters of standard 12W/meter LED strip or 8 meters of 6W/meter strip. The important thing is that the total power does not exceed 48W.
Does it get very hot during operation?
The aluminum casing may feel slightly warm to the touch during normal operation, but the temperature remains within safe limits below 65 degrees Celsius. It does not require forced ventilation.
Can I install it in a bathroom or outdoors?
No, this power supply has an IP20 protection rating and is intended exclusively for dry indoor spaces. For wet environments, you need power supplies with IP65 or higher.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
