How it works and how to install it
The power supply converts the 185-240V AC mains voltage to 24V DC, which is necessary for LED strips and other low-voltage devices. It should be installed indoors, in dry and well-ventilated places — avoid covering the ventilation slots. Connection is made on the marked terminal block: L (live), N (neutral), I (ground) for input, and at the output, 2 positive and 2 negative terminals for distribution. Installation must be performed by a certified electrician, in accordance with local regulations. The power cord with plugs is purchased separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I power a 10-meter LED strip with this power supply?
Yes, if the strip consumes a maximum of 36W per meter. Calculate: length x consumption/meter must be below 360W. For example, 10m x 24W/m = 240W, which is within the limit.
Do I need to purchase anything additional for connection?
Yes, you need a cable with plugs for power from the mains, which is not included. The rest of the connections are made directly to the power supply terminals.
Is it recommended for bathrooms or outdoors?
No, IP20 means protection only against dust, with no water protection. It is strictly for indoor use, in dry places, away from moisture and splashes.
