This 60W IP67 power supply delivers constant 24V DC current for LED strips, surveillance cameras, and lighting systems in wet or weather-exposed environments. Constructed from aluminum with silicone gel encapsulation, it operates reliably outdoors without a fan, without electrical noise, and without risk of infiltration.

How it works and how to install it
The power supply converts 220V AC current from the mains into 24V DC current, required by most LED strips and low-voltage devices. It connects directly via terminals to the electrical installation (observing polarity) and to the consumer. The silicone gel encapsulation in the aluminum casing allows outdoor mounting without the need for additional shelter. The internal pure copper coil ensures high efficiency and rapid thermal dissipation through the metallic body.
Frequently asked questions
Can I mount the power supply directly in the rain or do I need to protect it additionally?
The power supply has IP67 protection and can be mounted directly outdoors, resisting direct rain, splashing, and moisture. It does not require an additional protective casing.
Can I connect dimmable LED strips to this power supply?
No, this power supply is not dimmable. If you want light intensity control, you need a dimmable LED driver or a separate 24V DC compatible controller.
How much does it heat up during operation?
The aluminum casing efficiently dissipates heat through passive cooling. The operating temperature remains within normal limits according to standards, without requiring forced ventilation.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
