How it works and how to install it
The fuse is mounted in the appliance's fuse holder, interrupting the electrical circuit when the current exceeds 2.5A. Replacement is done after disconnecting from the mains: remove the blown fuse and insert a new one with the same characteristics. The transparent glass tube allows visual inspection of the internal wire — if it's broken, the fuse must be replaced.

Can I use a higher amperage fuse if they blow frequently?
No. A higher amperage fuse will not protect the circuit according to the manufacturer's specifications and can cause damage or fires. If it blows frequently, there is a problem with the appliance that requires inspection.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
