How it works and how to install
The fast-blow fuse contains a metallic filament that melts instantly when the nominal current of 3A is exceeded, interrupting the electrical circuit. No special tools are needed — the process takes less than a minute.

Can I use a 3A fuse instead of a 5A one?
It is not recommended. Always use the fuse with the amperage specified by the device manufacturer. A smaller value will blow frequently, a larger one will not properly protect the circuit.
How do I know if the fuse is blown?
The transparent glass tube allows visual inspection — if the metallic filament inside is broken or thickened, the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
