How it works and how to install
The LEDs are powered directly at 12V from the vehicle's battery or by connecting to the existing electrical system. Installation is done using the included M10 thread — you drill an 18mm hole in the desired location, insert the LED, secure it with the nut, and connect the cables to the corresponding poles, observing polarity. The entire process takes less than 15 minutes per LED, without special tools. Connection can be made to daytime running lights, parking lights, turn signals, or any other 12V circuit in the vehicle.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
