How it works and how to install it
The sensor combines sound detection with a photosensitive cell: during the day it remains inactive, and in the dark it reacts to sounds of 50-70 dB (voices, footsteps, claps). It is installed in series with the bulb, connecting the phase and neutral wires according to the included diagram. It does not require programming or complex settings – it works automatically after connection. The light threshold and sound sensitivity can be finely adjusted by rotating the integrated controllers.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be used outdoors, on the terrace or in the yard?
It is not recommended – the IP22 protection class is designed for dry indoor spaces. For outdoor use, you need at least IP65.
How long does the light stay on after detecting sound?
The lighting duration is fixed, approximately 30-60 seconds, sufficient for passing through the illuminated area. It does not have adjustable timing.
Does it work with old LED bulbs or only with new LEDs?
Compatible with any LED bulb up to 40W, regardless of model or age. It does not work optimally with incandescent or halogen bulbs due to higher power consumption.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
