How it works and how to install
The sensor connects in series between the DC power supply and the light fixture, using the two integrated 2.1mm female DC plugs. The output voltage is identical to the input voltage. When the PIR sensor detects human body heat in motion and the ambient light level is below the set threshold, it automatically activates the lighting. After motion ceases, the light automatically turns off according to the time set on the sensor, between 15 seconds and 5 minutes.
Installation is done without special tools: fix the sensor with the 2 included screws or with double-sided tape on the desired surface, then connect the input plug to the power supply and the output plug to the LED fixture. Sensitivity and delay time adjustment is done directly on the sensor via the integrated potentiometers.

Does the sensor work during the day or only at night?
The sensor has an adjustable photo-sensitive cell. You can set the activation threshold so that it only works in complete darkness, only in low ambient light, or detects motion at any time, including during the day.
Can it be connected to any type of LED strip?
Yes, it works with any LED strip, LED bar, or light fixture powered by direct current between 5V and 24V DC, with a maximum power of 144W. It is necessary that the power supply is via 2.1mm DC plugs or that you adapt the connectivity.
How long does the lighting stay on after motion detection?
The delay time is adjustable on the sensor between 15 seconds and 5 minutes. You set the duration according to your needs: 15-30 seconds for showers or closets, 2-5 minutes for corridors or garages.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
