How it works and how to install it
The sensor automatically detects smoke particles in the air and triggers a loud audible alarm to quickly alert you. Installation is simple: fix the detachable bracket to the ceiling or wall with the two included screws and wall plugs, then clip the detector into the bracket. Connect to 220V power or insert the 9V battery provided in the package, and the sensor becomes immediately operational. No electrician knowledge is required for basic installation.

Does it work without electricity?
Yes, you can power the sensor either with 220V AC or with a 9V DC battery. In case of a power outage, the battery-powered version continues to function normally.
How loud is the alarm?
The audible alarm exceeds 85 decibels at 3 meters, loud enough to wake you from sleep or alert people in adjacent rooms.
Can I install the sensor myself or do I need an electrician?
For battery-powered mounting, you can easily install the sensor yourself. For connection to 220V, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician for your safety.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
