How it works and how to install it
The relay is mounted on a 35mm DIN rail using the MF 6950 socket provided in the package. You wire the 220V AC power supply and the load according to the diagram drawn on the housing, then select the desired timing range by positioning the internal jumpers according to the instructions. Turn the central knob to set the desired time, and the mechanism starts the countdown automatically when power is connected or the ON button is pressed.
After the set time expires, the relay contact switches automatically, interrupting or starting the connected circuit. Installation requires basic electrical knowledge and adherence to safety standards for 220V equipment.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this relay to control a water pump?
Yes, if the pump consumes a maximum of 3A at 220V. For higher power, connect the relay to an intermediate contactor.
How do I switch between the 4-minute and 24-hour ranges?
By repositioning the internal jumpers according to the diagram on the housing — no special tools required, just opening the cover.
Does it reset itself after each cycle or does it need to be restarted manually?
It operates cyclically — after expiration, you can manually reset the knob for a new cycle or configure automatic reset through the wiring mode.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
