How it works and how to install it
The button is mounted in a 22mm hole in the control panel or equipment housing, secured with the mounting nut from the back, and connected via the 3 faston terminals to the control circuit and the 24V LED power supply. Upon the first press, the contact closes and remains closed due to the latching mechanism; a second press releases the button and opens the circuit. The blue LED lights up automatically as long as 24V is present in the circuit.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
