How it works and how to install it
Connect the meter plug into any standard 230V wall socket, then connect the desired electrical appliance into the meter plug. Press the FUNCTION button to select the desired view (kWh, cost, power, time), and use the UP/DOWN buttons to set your current kWh price from your bill. The LCD screen immediately displays all data. It does not require batteries or technical configuration — it works directly from the mains. Resetting is done with the RESET button to restart measurements from zero.

Yes, any appliance that consumes up to 3680W and has a standard European plug. It works with refrigerators, computers, televisions, air conditioners up to 16A.
Does the plug lose saved data if I unplug it?
No, the plug remembers accumulated consumption and settings even if you temporarily disconnect it from the mains.
Can I use the plug outdoors or in wet areas?
It is not recommended. The plug is intended for indoor use, in dry environments without direct exposure to rain, moisture, or intense sun.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
