How it works and how to install it
The pressure switch continuously monitors the pressure in the tank through the threaded connection. When the pressure drops below the set minimum threshold, the electrical contact closes and starts the compressor. Upon reaching the maximum pressure, the contact opens and the compressor stops automatically. Installation involves disconnecting the power, screwing the pressure switch onto the tank fitting, connecting the electrical wires to the device's contact, and adjusting the thresholds with the adjustment screws. Testing is initially performed at reduced pressure for verification.

Does it fit any compressor with a tank?
Yes, the pressure switch is compatible with most single-phase and small three-phase compressors, having standard 1/4" or 1/8" BSP male connections.
How do you adjust the start and stop pressure?
The pressure switch has two adjustment screws: one for the start pressure and another for the differential until stopping. Adjustment is easily done with a screwdriver, according to the instructions.
Does the pressure switch display the tank pressure?
Some models include an integrated pressure gauge for displaying pressure. Check the specific features or mount a separate pressure gauge on another tank fitting.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
