How it works and how to install it
Insert the 11mm glue stick into the rear chamber until it reaches the heating element, plug it into the socket, and turn the knob to set the desired temperature. The LED indicator lights up when the gun reaches the set temperature, at which point you press the lever and the melted glue exits through a precise conical tip. To change the stick, wait 2-3 minutes for it to cool, then insert the new stick which will push out the remainder of the old one.

At what temperature should I set it for plastic and wood?
For wood, textiles, and cardboard, use 100-120 degrees. For plastic, metal, and glass, set it between 160-180 degrees. Ceramic materials or stone require 200-220 degrees.
How often do I need to change the glue stick?
A standard 11mm x 270mm stick lasts approximately 15-20 minutes of continuous work. For intensive gluing, calculate 3-4 sticks per hour. You can insert a new stick before the old one is completely used up.
Can it be used non-stop or does it need breaks?
The gun can operate continuously for 30-40 minutes, after which a 10-minute break is recommended to prevent overheating. Integrated ventilation helps with cooling, but breaks extend the motor's life.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
