How it works and how to install it
The 70W COB LED chip is thermally bonded to the floodlight's heatsink with thermal paste (recommended, not included), and the power terminals are connected to the existing 70W LED driver with a 32-34V output voltage. The operation requires basic electronics knowledge and a soldering iron — it is not recommended for people without experience working with electronic components. Before replacement, verify that the driver in the floodlight delivers the correct voltage to avoid damaging the new chip.

It fits 70W COB floodlights that use a 32-34V supply voltage and have space for a 43x43mm module. Check the dimensions and driver voltage of your floodlight before ordering.
Do I need a separate driver or do I use the one from the floodlight?
You can use the original LED driver from the floodlight, provided it delivers 32-34V at 70W. If the driver is also faulty, a new compatible driver will be needed.
Is thermal paste required for installation?
Yes, thermal paste is mandatory to ensure thermal transfer between the chip and the heatsink. Without it, the chip will overheat and be damaged quickly. The paste is not included in the package.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
