How it works and how to install it
The plug disassembles into two parts to expose the interior. Solder the power wires from your device to the internal terminals, place the 6x30mm glass fuse in its dedicated holder, and close the cap. The red LED will automatically light up when you insert the plug into the car's cigarette lighter, confirming the presence of 12V voltage. If the device consumes too much current, the fuse blows, protecting the car's electrical system — you can easily replace it with a new one of the same type.

How do I know if the fuse has blown?
The LED no longer lights up, and the connected device does not turn on. Disassemble the plug, visually inspect the metal wire in the fuse — if it's broken, replace it with a new 6x30mm fuse.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
