How it works and how to install it
The modules are connected in series via 70 mm wires and are powered at 12V via an RGB controller (not included in the package). Installation is done by sticking the 3M adhesive tape from the back of the module onto the desired surface or by screwing into the existing mounting hole on the module. No advanced electrical knowledge is required — connect the wire to the controller, the controller to the 12V source, and the installation is ready.

Is the RGB controller included in the package?
No, the RGB controller is not included. The set contains only the 20 interconnected LED modules; the controller must be purchased separately and must be compatible with 12V DC.
Can I use these modules outdoors, in the rain?
Yes, the injection-molded construction provides IP65 protection, meaning resistance to water jets from one direction. They are suitable for protected outdoor areas — terraces, balconies, facades — but not for immersion in water.
Can I cut the module chain or add additional modules?
The modules are connected by standard 3-pin SM connectors, which allows for extending or shortening the chain. Check the maximum capacity of the controller and power supply before adding additional modules.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
