How it works and how to install
The modules connect in series or parallel to a 12V DC power source, and the wire between the modules allows for a 70mm spacing between each unit. Mounting is done either with 3M adhesive tape applied to the back of the module, or with a screw in the integrated mounting hole. No advanced technical experience is required — connections are simple, with twin-core wires with polarity marked by colors.

Can the modules be used outdoors or only indoors?
The injected body protects the modules against water and dust, so they can also be used outdoors, for example on billboards or building facades.
Can I cut or separate the modules to mount them at greater distances?
The wire between the modules can be extended with standard twin-core cable, but the modules themselves are not cut — each 72x15mm unit functions as an independent block.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
