How it works and how to install it
The limit switch operates by pressing the roller lever with the moving element (door, gate, blind). Upon contact, the switch instantly changes the state of the electrical circuit, stopping or starting the automation. Installation is done by screwing it onto the fixed structure, positioning the roller so that it is pressed exactly when you want to stop the movement. Electrical connection is made according to the diagram in your automation manual, usually on the NC (normally closed) or NO (normally open) terminals.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it suitable for a 400 kg sliding gate?
Yes, the limit switch supports 10A at 250V AC, sufficient for most sliding gate motors. Check your motor's amperage to ensure it's under 10A.
Can it be mounted outdoors, in the rain?
The limit switch does not have a declared IP rating for outdoor use. We recommend mounting it in a protective box or under a roof, away from direct contact with water.
How long is the roller lever?
The lever measures 50 mm in length, suitable for detection in small spaces and applications where a long actuation stroke is not required.
