How it works and how to install it
The laser projector is powered by the included EU adapter, connected to a standard 220V outdoor socket; this converts the voltage to the DC 5V/1A required by the laser unit. Installation takes a few minutes: stake the rod into the ground or fix the base with screws on a hard surface, aim the projector head towards the desired surface, and select your preferred effect from the remote control. At sub-zero temperatures, the projector may require a few extra minutes to reach maximum brightness — this is a normal characteristic of laser modules in cold conditions.

Can I leave the projector outside in the rain or winter?
Yes, the projector casing has IP65 protection, which means it resists water jets and precipitation. The power adapter has IP44 protection, so it is recommended to keep it away from direct water exposure.
How far does it project and how large is the covered area?
The projector is effective on surfaces located a few meters away; optimal visual results are obtained in dark conditions or low ambient light. The covered area depends on the projection angle and the distance from the object.
Does the remote control work through walls or only in a straight line?
The remote control works via IR signal and requires direct line of sight to the front of the projector, at a maximum distance of 3 meters.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
