How it works and how to install it
The flashlight is powered by the 2 included 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries, which are charged via the mains charger provided in the package — no special cables or USB plugs. The zoom is activated by pulling or pushing the front head of the flashlight, mechanically concentrating or dispersing the light beam. The lighting mode is changed by successive presses of the side on-off button.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
