How it works and how to install
The work lamp requires no installation — it is used immediately after inserting 3 AAA batteries into the compartment on the back of the housing, accessible via the removable cover. Turning it on and off is done with a single ON/OFF button, and attachment is done in seconds: either by magnetic adhesion to any metal surface, or by the integrated hook on a support or bar. No tools or cables are needed.

Can it be used in rain or wet conditions?
The lamp is splash-resistant and resistant to normal humidity, but it is not sealed for submersion or direct exposure to water jets.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
