How it works and how to install it
The solar panel integrated into the lamp head charges the batteries in the pole modules during the day, and the ambient light sensor automatically turns on the illumination at dusk. No connection to the electrical grid is required. Installation is done in two ways: either you push the ABS stake directly into the ground or lawn in less than a minute, or you use the included base plate for fixed mounting on concrete or paving. The pole modules are assembled by simply connecting them to each other, without tools.

How long does the lamp operate overnight if the day was cloudy?
With a single battery module, autonomy may decrease on very cloudy days, but by adding a second or third module, the energy reserve increases proportionally, offering a significant margin even in unfavorable weather conditions.
Can I mount the lamp on a concrete terrace, not in the ground?
Yes, the product includes two installation methods: fixing with a stake in soft ground and fixed mounting with a base plate on hard surfaces such as concrete, tiles, or paving.
What happens to the lamp in winter or during heavy rain?
The lamp is IP65 certified, which means it is waterproof against water jets from any direction and resistant to dust, allowing it to be left outdoors all year round without additional protection.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
