How it works and how to install it
The solar lamp is mounted on a pole or a wall using the bracket included in the package, at a recommended height of 1.5 to 3.5 meters. The monocrystalline solar panel, delivered separately in the kit, connects to the lamp body and charges the 3.2V/15Ah battery during the day, after which the lamp automatically turns on at dusk. No electrician intervention is required — installation is done with basic tools, without power cables.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
