This LED lamp with motion sensor and USB charging solves the problem of lighting in wardrobes, under shelves, or in any area without outlets, without requiring cables or electrical installations. It mounts in seconds via magnet or the included adhesive strip and turns on automatically when it detects motion in the dark. The package contains two units, so you can simultaneously illuminate multiple spaces in your home.

How it works and how to install it
You stick the self-adhesive metal strips on the desired surface, and the lamp attaches magnetically to them without any tools — the whole process takes less than two minutes. In auto mode, the PIR sensor continuously monitors the area and turns on the lamp only when it detects motion and ambient light is insufficient, automatically turning it off 20 seconds after motion stops. Recharging is done via the micro-USB port on the side, just like with a phone or any other USB device.
Frequently asked questions
Does the lamp turn on during the day when I pass in front of it?
No. The auto-induction sensor is programmed to activate the light only in low light conditions or complete darkness, so during the day, when there is sufficient natural light, the lamp does not turn on even if it detects motion.
How long does the battery last between charges?
Battery life depends on usage frequency, but in auto mode with the sensor, the integrated rechargeable battery provides a considerable operating time; the indicator on the casing shows you when it's time to recharge via micro-USB.
Can it be mounted on a non-metallic surface, such as wood or plastic?
Yes. The package includes metal strips with adhesive on the back that you stick on any surface, and the lamp attaches magnetically to these strips, regardless of the material of the shelf or cabinet.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
