How it works and how to install it
The lamp connects directly to a standard 220V outlet via the included two-pin plug — no installation or electrical intervention is required. The panel with 24 SMD 5730 LEDs produces an intense and uniform white light, comparable to an incandescent bulb of approximately 40-60W, but with much lower power consumption.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
