How it works and how to install
The kit connects the car amplifier to the vehicle's power source, to the head unit via the RCA cable, and to the chassis ground via the ground cable. The fuse holder is mounted on the power cable, as close to the battery as possible, to protect the entire circuit. Installation does not require specialized tools — the connectors and terminals included in the package are used, and the cable lengths cover standard routes in most cars.

Is this kit compatible with any car amplifier?
Yes, the kit uses standard connectors — RCA and universal terminals — compatible with conventional medium-power car amplifiers.
Is the 8GA power cable sufficient for a 1000W subwoofer?
The 8GA cable is recommended for amplifiers up to approximately 500-800W RMS; for higher power, a larger gauge cable (4GA or 2GA) is indicated.
What do I do if the fuse blows after installation?
The included 60A fuse protects the circuit in case of a short circuit or overcurrent; replace it with a fuse of the same value and check the connections before restarting the system.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
