How it works and how to install it
You connect the inverter directly to the 12V car cigarette lighter socket. The device automatically converts DC current into 220V AC, 50Hz alternating current, identical to the mains supply. The output provides a standard Schuko socket and a USB port. For safety, do not leave the inverter connected with the engine off for more than a few minutes — it can drain the car's battery. Ensure that the connected devices do not exceed 150W in total.

Can I power an iron or a hair dryer with this inverter?
No, the inverter is not designed for heat-generating appliances that consume over 150W. It is exclusively intended for portable electronic devices: laptops, phones, tablets, small LED monitors.
Do I risk draining my car's battery if I leave it connected?
Yes, if the engine is not running. The inverter includes an alarm that warns you when the voltage drops below 10.5V. We recommend using it only with the engine running or for short periods with the engine off.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
