How it works and how to install it
The switch connects to your existing 2.4GHz WiFi network via the Smart Life or Tuya app, then you add it to your smart home ecosystem or configure it with your preferred voice assistant. Each of the three touch buttons controls a separate electrical circuit, allowing independent switching of lights in various areas. Installation is done in a standard wall box, connecting the live and neutral wires according to the manual, then fixing the front panel with the included screws. The touch panel responds to touch, and the discrete LED confirms the status of each circuit.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work without internet if the WiFi goes out?
Yes, the touch controls on the panel remain functional even without an internet connection. You only lose remote control via the app and voice commands until reconnected.
Can I use LED bulbs with this switch?
Yes, it is compatible with all types of bulbs — LED, incandescent, halogen, and energy-saving — with a total consumption of maximum 300W per circuit.
Does it need a neutral wire or does it work with two wires?
It requires a neutral wire to power the WiFi module. If your installation only has two conductors (live and switched), a neutral cable will need to be run from the adjacent junction box.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
