How it works and how to install it
The rotary switch has two fixed positions: ON and OFF, with mechanical locking in each position. You rotate the red handle 90 degrees for switching, and the internal three-pole contacts simultaneously interrupt or connect the three phases of the circuit. Installation is done by mounting on a DIN rail or fixing with screws through the 4 holes on the casing. Cables are connected at the rear through screw terminals, accessible after opening the front cover. The IP65 box has pre-installed sealing gaskets and requires no additional maintenance.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
