How it works and how to install it
The switch opens by simply separating the two parts of the casing, is positioned on the power cable at the desired distance, then closes by clipping — the wire remains intact, without cutting. The internal mechanism makes the automatic connection. The ON/OFF button ensures instantaneous current switching. It works with any electrical appliance within the 3A limit, including LED bulbs, halogens, or classic bedside lamps.

Do I need to cut the wire to install the switch?
No, the clip-on system allows installation on the cable without cutting or modifying it. You open the casing, place the wire inside the guides, and close it by pressing.
Can I use the switch with a 15W LED lamp?
Yes, absolutely. At 230V, a 15W lamp consumes approximately 0.065A, well below the switch's 3A limit.
Can it be mounted on any cable thickness?
The switch is compatible with standard HO5VV-F or similar cables, with an outer diameter up to 6-7mm. Check for compatibility with your cable's cross-section before installation.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
