How it works and how to install it
The MCCB continuously monitors the current flowing through the circuit. Upon detecting an overload, short circuit, or overvoltage, the internal mechanism automatically interrupts the power flow within milliseconds. Installation is done by mounting on a DIN rail in the electrical panel, connecting the two poles to the DC circuit that requires protection — typically between the battery bank and the inverter. Connections are made via the upper and lower screw terminals, ensuring stable electrical contact.

No, this breaker is designed exclusively for DC current. For 220V AC alternative circuits, dedicated AC breakers must be used.

Can it be reset after it has tripped automatically?

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
