The 2-setting, 3-contact rotary heater switch allows you to quickly adjust the room temperature without unplugging the device. Designed for electric heating appliances up to 2.5A, it is mounted directly into the heater's circuit and provides safe switching between two operating levels.

How it works and how to install it
The switch has a rotary knob with two active positions that connect the electrical circuit to two different power levels, plus an OFF position. The 3 metal contacts are fixed directly to the terminals in the heater casing. For installation, disconnect the appliance from the mains, open the access panel, replace the old switch by connecting the cables to the corresponding positions, and secure the assembly. The operation takes 10-15 minutes with a standard screwdriver.

How do I know which position to connect each cable to?
The contacts are marked on the switch housing. We recommend taking a photo of the old connections before disassembly or consulting the heater's wiring diagram.
Does the switch get hot during operation?
Slight heating is normal under load, but it should not be hot. If it overheats, check that the appliance's amperage does not exceed 2.5A and that the connections are tight.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
