How it works and how to install it
The lampholder is fixed by the rear metal nut to the desired support or directly by the outer clamping ring with the plastic nut. The internal brass contacts ensure a stable electrical connection with the E27 bulb. Installation takes a few minutes — connect the wires to the internal terminals, attach the body to the support, then screw in the bulb. No specialized tools are required, only a screwdriver for connecting the cables.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
