How it works and how to install it
The fixture is mounted on the ceiling or wall using integrated mounting holes, without the need for a certified electrician if an adequate electrical circuit is already in place. The T8 LED tubes are inserted into the socket, the cover is closed with the included PC clips, ensuring IP65 sealing. Connection to the mains is made via the fixture's internal wiring, similar to any standard linear light fixture.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
