How it works and how to install it
The controller operates with a NO-NO contact system in four directions, each direction activating a separate circuit when you move the lever. When released, the lever automatically returns to the central position and breaks all contacts. Installation is done by fixing it into a 22mm hole in the electrical panel, securing it with the included nut, and connecting the cables to the screw terminals at the back. The depth of only 40mm allows installation in panels with limited space. It does not require special tools or advanced electrician knowledge.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
