How it works and how to install
The LT-736 connector uses a pressure clamping system — strip about 10mm from the end of each wire, insert it into the corresponding hole until you feel resistance, and the internal clamp automatically locks the conductor. Each module has 3 poles, and the system allows connecting 3-6 conductors simultaneously. To disconnect, press the release button and pull out the wire. It does not require a screwdriver, pliers, or other special tools. It can be installed in a junction box or used independently for temporary or permanent connections.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this connector for aluminum wires or only copper?
The connector is optimized for copper wires. Aluminum wires require special treatment and dedicated contacts to avoid oxidation and loss of connection over time.
Can it be used outdoors or in wet locations?
The connector provides basic protection against dust and low moisture, but for permanent outdoor installation, we recommend placing it in a waterproof junction box with an appropriate IP rating.
How many wires can I connect to a single connector?
An LT-736 set contains two modules with a total of 9 holes — you can connect up to 9 individual conductors, depending on your electrical circuit configuration.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
