How it works and how to install it
The connector attaches directly to the DIN rail in the electrical panel via the clip on the back. To connect, lift the orange lever, insert the stripped cable into the corresponding hole, and lower the lever — the brass contact applies pressure and automatically secures the conductor. You can check for voltage through the test slot without disconnecting. Multiple connectors can be joined side-by-side to form a modular terminal block.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
