How it works and how to install
Lift the transparent tabs of the connector, insert the stripped stranded wires (approx. 5-7mm) into the corresponding holes, then press the tabs until they lock. The internal spring-loaded locking system keeps the wires in permanent contact with the copper blades. You can disconnect at any time by lifting the tabs again. No soldering, electrical tape, or special tools required — the entire process takes less than a minute per connector.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this connector for solid wires or only for stranded wires?
This connector is designed exclusively for stranded (multi-strand) wires. Solid wires will not be properly secured by the locking system and may pull out of the connector.
How difficult is it to remove the wires once they are connected?
Lift the transparent tabs of the connector and gently pull the wires. The system allows for repeated reconnections without damaging the contacts.
Can I connect wires of different diameters in the same connector?
Yes, the connector simultaneously accepts wires between 0.35mm and 0.75mm. Ensure that each wire is fully inserted into its respective hole.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
