How it works and how to install
The H2 connector uses a locking system with a cover that firmly grips stranded wires. Strip the ends of the wires approximately 5-6mm, insert them into the corresponding terminals, then close the transparent cover until you hear a click. The copper contacts automatically make the electrical connection. No soldering, clamps, or special tools are required. Suitable only for stranded wire, not for solid core wire.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the H2 connector outdoors or in wet locations?
It is not recommended. The IP40 protection makes it suitable only for dry indoor spaces, away from water or direct condensation.
Does it also work with solid wire, not just stranded?
The H2 connector is designed exclusively for stranded wires with a cross-section of 0.35-0.5mm. Solid wires will not be properly clamped and may lose contact.
How many wires can I connect simultaneously with one connector?
A single H2 connector connects 4 stranded wires, allowing complex connections without multiple connectors.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
