How it works and how to install it
The 12mm RGBW LED strip connector works on the direct clip principle: open the connector cover, insert the end of the LED strip into the marked slot, close the cover by pressing firmly, and the internal contacts gently pierce the strip's protective layer and establish the electrical connection. For the wired version, the colored wires are inserted into the corresponding pins (red, green, blue, white, ground) before clipping. The entire process takes less than a minute and requires no tools.

No, the connector is designed strictly for 12mm wide 5-pin (RGBW) strips. For 10mm RGB strips, 4-pin 10mm wide connectors are required.

Yes, the IP65 protection class allows use in areas with humidity or exposure to water splashes, including in the bathroom or under an outdoor roof.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
